Module 5 - Peer Analysis

The Peer Analysis of Gagan's Professional Community: Edutopia  I really enjoyed reading Gagan’s blog and journal entries. It was a great reading along the process that she took as she grew a deeper connection with her professional community. Through random searches or general researching in the past few years, I have often come across and appreciated the information I have received through Edutopia. I was interested to read Gagan’s experiences from connecting with this community.  It was also was engaging to recognize and reflect on the similarities and differences of the context of practice between Gagan’s professional community and my own. Module 5 -Journal Entry 4- Final Reflection

As I work through the first half of my Master’s program: Graduate Program of Professional Inquiry, through Queen’s University, we have been challenged on making connections with professional communities. As a result from my experiences during my week at the Project Zero Classroom 2017, I am using Project Zero as the community for my focus. Module 5 - Journal Entry 3- Study Group & Other Shared Resources

During my week at PZ, I was part of a weekly Study Group. We discussed creating a Google Folder to share resources. A couple days ago I contacted my Study Group leaders and later that day I received this message from them: Inside the folder, the Study Group leader added all the resources that we used during our week.   I also added a document sharing Visible Thinking Routines.   The intention is that this folder will be an active platform for collaboration. Also because I participated in the PZ classroom, I have access to all of the resources from the all 38 of the mini course- even if I did not attend them. Unfortunately this resource cannot be shared, and I only have access to because I paid the PZ participation program fee.
